The blog "Mandata Apo Ekso" supports the fight of the Greek suspended health workers. Campaign for practical solidarity

Since 1 September,
thousands of health workers in Greece have been suspended from work, without a single euro of salary, because they took the brave decision to resist the mandatory vaccination measure imposed by the Mitsotakis government.

For six months now, the Mitsotakis government has been holding thousands of doctors, nurses and other specialists hostage. They are neither working, nor are they considered unemployed, nor are they allowed to do any other work to survive!

For six months now, suspended health workers have been fighting for the rights of the whole society, of all workers. Because when a fundamental human right, such as that of self-determination, is abolished in practice, it is abolished for everyone, not just for a portion of the population! Automatically, what was before self-evident and inalienable has become a right under a condition. Subject to what the rulers of the day decide to impose as a measure and as a condition, completely arbitrarily, as they choose.

The same applies to the right to work, even in the case of civil servants with permanent posts. Everyone, vaccinated and unvaccinated, is now conditional if the employer is given the right to make demands on the employee beyond the time, place and scope of work. All the more so when these demands have implications for their bodies, health and lives.

This is the reason why suspended health workers are resisting mandatory vaccination.

This is the reason why they remain unpaid for 6 months, with enormous difficulty, for many of them, to cover the obligations, the bills, the necessary expenses of daily life for themselves and their families. But they remain there, in the struggle, and continue to fight with their heads held high for the values of all the society, of all of humanity.

That is why their struggle is a struggle of all and must be supported and joined by the whole of society. It makes no difference whether someone is vaccinated or not. Nor does it matter whether they believe that vaccines kill or whether they believe that they are the gift of science to humanity. Everyone, without exception, should support the health workers on suspension because they are also defending their own right to work and, above all, the right to remain human beings with free will and not objects to be used and thrown away when they break!

The suspended health workers are not just a group of workers claiming their "little job". They are heroes fighting against the new fascism in a health care cloak!

But because heroes also have material needs, from 21/2, Mandata Apo Ekso has started a campaign of practical solidarity for the financial support of the struggling suspended health workers.

About a month ago, we begun an effort to support "Mandata Apo Ekso" by its own readers. An effort that received a significant response from the friends of the blog and our channels. You will already know it if you follow our posts, it is https://www.buymeacoffee.com/mandata.apoekso

Now, we are pleased to announce that:

After consultation with the respective groups, from 21/2 onwards, all the money deposited at buymeacoffee.com/mandata.apoekso will be used to support the suspended workers of the Psychiatric Hospital of Thessaloniki, the Health Center of Toumba, and the Organization Against Drug Addiction (OKANA) of Thessaloniki.

Hoping that you who follow the articles and videos we upload are joining us in our struggle for Freedom and Democracy, we rely on your response. From now until the end, until the victory of this just struggle!
